In many areas around Golden you can hike all day and not see another human being. Breathe in fresh mountain air and feast your eyes on mountain peaks, glaciers, rivers, waterfalls and valleys. Bird and wildlife viewings are common place and are a wonderful addition to the fantastic scenery.
From a short woodland walk to a full-blown backpacking expedition in the high mountains, there is a trail for everyone.
Within half an hours drive of Mount 7 Lodges are two of Canada's mountain national parks, and we are within an hour and a half drive of four more mountain national parks. We are also close to Bugaboo, Hamber and Upper Cummins Lakes Provincial Parks.
